Simon goofed the title of my piece ... it's "Packback" rather than "Paperback". I sent him a note and hopefully that'll be corrected soon.

I find the title “Paperback” to have more literary merit. Simon was unintentionally brilliant. BRILLIANT!
I also post stories under the writing name of "Dark Wynd".

I am on BDSMLR dot com as 'Chrystal Wynd' also.

"Paperback," meh. Anyone can write one of those. ANYONE!

Simon has already fixed the piece's title, but left it at the beginning of each chapter. I sent him a note about that, too.

Whoever posted the link to the story on this forum will have to change it unless they want it to be a dead link.

Wow, so many stories this week!  And starting at the top, hurray for more Algorithm, thank you for the special bonus installment Carefully Random!  As always, Algorithm doesn't disappoint, very hot and a wonderful story too.  And as always I completely failed to correctly guess the next plot twist, but I'm not going to stop trying!

All fixed now. Except for the link to it at the top of this thread. Which, for the record, should be:

Packback

It's also nice to see that connie_k has posted the second chapter to her piece, this time under a separate title: The Spiral Boy. I'm working my way through that in between other endeavors and I like it just fine so far :-)

September 21st already. Wow.

Been a busy weekend for me so not much reading time but I will comment on a few:

321's Hostel goes forth as Rebecca seems to have all things well under control. So very well. I can't help thinking....too well....And wow, what a partner in Celeste! Even though she has been altered and is under control she is proving an invaluable, smart aid for Rebecca.

For a while now I have been waiting for the unexpected hammer blow to come down and 321 do9es a great job luring you into feeling that way a just a certain point, but every time I think its coming, no. So now, finally, today I'm thinking, well, there may be no hammer, just a very happy ending.

Than Jessica gets a call right at the end of the chapter.

321 double dips this week with a short, Rare Books. Could have been called The Bait or The Trap too. Once Landon was disappointed Tessa had put the tome away you knew he had set the bait...or trap. This of course also sets up tension for the reader. You know if she opens that book....and of course she does.

Landon has a reputation. In the end one wonders, is it because of his own game and seduction techniques or has he had many other young women read the tome? Or a combination of both?

Lovely excursion into supernatural 321.

Another story I liked from the start that just gets better, more complex and sophisticated and volcanic hot in it's MC. That would be Alan Smithees There Was Something Strange Going On At the Office.  Poor Jenna, she finds out some kind of mind control at her company is changing her friends and co workers. It is only having a partial effect on her so far so she is able to see what is happening. In the latest chapter she tries to recruit and ally and fight back before all is lost leading up what should a massive next chapter I can't wait to read.

Smithee really put in a terrific, hot layered piece of writing right at the end of this chapter. Just great stuff. Jenna thinks about how she should go outside the company and get help but realizes anything that happens in the company stays in the company and doesn't do that logical, smart expedient. She does this because that mantra is part of the programming that she has absorbed along with some others! That touch there was just so clever and soooo HOT. I love this story.

There was also a very unusual story this week I found myself getting into. It is Nu Thought by Dr. D. This is a strange read in a very interesting, complimentary way. It is really unlike anything I came across before and that is rare. That last scene, where Dell is 'working out'..smoking freaking hot.

Also have to mention Zorkmeister's Refashioned. Annabel finds a new online clothing store...hmmmmm. And soon she finds herself attracted to pretty co-worker Lauren..hmmmm..

This story is so well written both in plot and establishing Annabel's character and the reaction to the changes coming over her and how she is acting atypical to her old self. Another thing I LOVE is Zorkmeister is taking his or her good sweet time with the hot induction and not rushing into it. It's like sitting in a humid, steamy, southern night and you just keep sweating more. Just perfection. I does not get any hotter than this.

I can't wait to see where this goes and the way it takes the reader there. Great job!!

Naked in Front of the Computer by Jukebox
A hot little short. Very much Jukebox's style of vividly illustrating one idea or hot flash that hints at something much larger with an economy of words, which I'm always a fan of (although I don't often manage to do myself, lol).

Seeing Things Through a New Lew Lens by Dr. HypnoD
Another quickie, although one that does leave the door somewhat open (despite being mostly encapsulated). Sort of the pornographic equivalent "Jason jumps up at the end of the movie to prove that he's still around". Always onboard for a red story now and then and this scratched the itch nicely. I'm not sure I've seen eye exams come up in this context before, although it now seems obvious in retrospect given the weirdly large overlap between asmr, eye exam roleplays, and attractive women.

Thank you for all your kind words, it means a lot. I'm really glad you're enjoying the story! Next update is ready to be sent in and should be the final chapter unless I decide I decide to add on an epilogue too. I think there'll be plenty more material that will be to your liking  >:D

So many stories this week! I should probably pace myself, but I've already read more than usual...

Let's go with alphabetical for today, and start with the ever wonderful Algorithm. I've already told CR how much I enjoyed this chapter. There's so much I would like to say here, but I don't want to spoil it. All I can really say is... if you haven't been reading, I would highly recommend you start. It has it all, from fun moments, to sexy hypnosis... there's even an emu or two thrown in for good measure! Can't go wrong with that. Wouldn't want to upset the emus by not reading, would you?

Hostel is another story that I'm sure people are getting tired of hearing me gush over. It's still as chock full of wonderful triggers and control as ever. I thought I had things figured out, but as the chapters go on, I'm starting to lose confidence in my prediction. That said, I'm as happy as ever that Jessica makes her glorious return in here... and I already warned 321 that nothing bad should befall her... Oh, thank you for the unexpected shout out at the start! Always glad to help where I can =)

It's fitting that another 321 story happens to be the next alphabetically. It's been awhile since I read Rare Books, and I should probably read it again to refresh my memory but... screw it, we're doing it live! I'm glad I have no interest in reading such ancient books, nor do I have the ability to translate anything. I wonder if Google Translate would be of any assistance? Probably would have spared Tessa, not that she's complaining at the moment!

I was intrigued to read Savannah's Hypnotic Socks. The synopsis reminded me of a (sadly unfinished) story called Sarah's Feet Convert the Coeds. Unfortunately the villain in this story was just too unlikable for my tastes, what with her being written as rude, smell, and just an offensive person. Had some good parts, so given a few character changes I probably would have enjoyed it more, but generally just not to my taste.

I'm glad to see the follow up to The Spiral Girl here, though I almost was confused as this one was called The Spiral Boy. I do see why, though! I'm really glad the way things turned out, as let's just say that I wasn't exactly rooting for the protagonist since the beginning. Loved the introduction of the new character, and all her interactions with Kennedy. Would love to see more with just those two!

There Was Something Going On At The Office, despite having such a long title, continues to be a remarkably fun tale. I love how Jenna is so unwitting to the few things already instilled in her, but still has enough sense to try to fight her way out the way she does. The plan she came up with was clever, and really has me rooting for her. That said, there's a certain way I'd like this to go down, especially if the next chapter is the last as the author earlier said! Definitely one of the stories I will be looking forward to next week!

That's all I had time for today. Which is probably good because I wouldn't want to burn through EVERYthing at once. Still a few stories that piqued my interest remain, and I'm sure there will be a few more that I'll give a shot. Until then!

S.B.'s Corruption Games surprised me as I expected it to be a one-off story of probably my favorite hypnotist of his. But Alexandra is at it again, and though a lot of this seemed like a planning chapter, how the General and male support on her team reacted to her was always nice. Can't wait to see more Alexandra, and how she might have to square off against someone formidable soon.

Really wasn't expecting a sequel from last week's Ice & Fire, but Flame & Frost was a great look a characters growing in time and roles reversed, with the flame user now on the defensive and having to improvise to win. A sweet, familiar move the former hot-head takes to spice things up, which I love. Fans of the last story will love this new one for sure.

The Girls of S.L.E.E.P. are going further with their sorority building, with new potential recruits and connections made amongst characters who've met before in previous stories from Sleepy Hypno. It's been gratifying following a number of his characters up to this point and to watch them play with each other. Eve's trance of the reporter girl was done very nicely.

And Seeing Things Through A New Lens runs with a great concept into several clever inductions and deepeners I must say. Love how Dr. Vale got her to spell things out, and how every test seemed to be passed with flying colors. This has been a sexy reminder that it might not be a bad idea to check on my vision, at least in a fantasy with an eye-doctor like Vale.

Nice to see a new story by Zorkmeister.  I found this one really enjoyable to read and look forward to the next part.  I particularly like the slow-burn.

Oddly enough it was reading Zorkmeister's stories that introduced me to the 'Hive' subgenre of MC stories so naturally I want to see how this one developes.

My synopsis for Armageddon Archives is a bit wonky, too. In my case, I simply forgot to have one in my email to Simon!
Asked him to change it to: Life in California is now different after the apocalypse, as that part of the world is now ruled by Demon King Asmodeus.

This is the first time I've ever been compelled to post a message here after years of lurking and reading.  I felt it was important enough regarding the story "On The Cards"...

The line in particular "His cock, slick with her [...]"  I found... way over the top to include without any notification of such.  I can appreciate that not everything is my kink and there are plenty of people out there that might enjoy this sort of thing... but some warning would be nice when you're going to get into descriptions of that being used as a lubricant..

I was at first a bit incredulous, with my mind filling in the blanks, wondering how something like that would merit a comment, and wondering why you blanked out the word.

My reaction after checking out that chapter: oh... Oh I see now.

I haven't read much from the author, but from what I have read, they don't seem to mind going full throttle over some lines, it seems. So I can't say I'm too surprised. Still has some good stories, and even the more extreme ones can have nice parts, but I understand why some people would avoid their stories.

The Bovide Bus (mc mf md gr la) (new)  by Screw-Ball_Rancher
A high school girls’ volleyball team and cheerleader squad are sent to a long summer training camp, but the bus ride there is long, and the whole trip is lame anyway!  Good thing the bus is nice, and they can relax on it.  Of course, they have to get through the annoying information video they’re required to watch first!

I really liked this story. Thematically and structurally, it reminded me of CNP's stories, and I enjoy CNP's writing very much. Being really, really nitpicky, there were one or two spots that could've been reworded for clarity, but overall, I thought the writing was sharp and the pacing brisk but enjoyable. I will probably reread it.

Thank you very much for continuing to read, and I hope the conclusion will be to your liking. If not, don't hesitate to provide a critique since I'm still new to this and want to get good!

Once I've wrapped this one up I have a few more old story ideas to explore, so hopefully I'll be able to follow up before too long.

I probably would not have read The Bovide Bus if not for the reviews I saw from others here. The title and tags of course hinting of it being a hucow story, which isn't generally my thing, though I wouldn't say I'm against it either. That said, I understand why the story was praised, and am happy to do so myself. Really enjoyed just about every aspect of it. Wonderfully written, and leaves me wondering just where this bus might be headed! I could always use a break from work. *wink wink*

Got in two shorter stories today, starting with Kidnapping by Tentacle. I think I would have preferred the MC to be a bit more drawn out, a bit more resistance from the main character, but I did enjoy the complete discard of self at the end. Not bad, if you're looking for a quickie.

Last story for today was Seeing Things Through a New Lens. It's almost a shame that I don't have problems with my vision... not that Dr. Vale would bother with me, likely. Really clever use of the image... reading... things. Not sure what they're called. Really hoping for a sequel, cuz I'm certainly a sucker for betrayal! I'm sure Gabby would look great in those glasses!

Still quite a few more to get to, but I'm trying to pace myself for now.

The Bovide Bus by Screw-Ball_Rancher was exceptional!

Very well written in addition to hitting my buttons! Especially for their first on mcstories! I wanted to send an email to the author about it - but the don't appear to have an en email linked.

So - here's hoping the author at least finds this and gives us a nice second part!

Also - thanks for the praise Charles Wallace! I am very much looking forward to your next piece as well or your next segment of Bookworms!

Glad you were surprised in a positive way and I'm sure you know where Melvin Chandler came from, right? The story is up to  Chapter 5 elsewhere (hint: it's my Patreon feed ) and yeah, there's a major hypnotic conspiray going on which will be unleashed soon. Please look forward to it and thanks again for the kind words.

Got a few more stories in today. Starting with The Girls of Sleep, I don't really read many stories that have a cheeky kind of fun about the way they're told. It was rather refreshing, with the narrator seeming to have their own voice at times. Enjoyable short, and hope to see the next chapter this coming weekend. I've heard good things all around regarding the NCU, so maybe some day I'll find the time to check out the other chapters.

Next up, looks like Naked In Front Of The Computer. Jukebox definitely has a trusted level of quality with his writing skill. The story was wonderfully told. While enjoyable, it's just not the type of story that really grips me. I'm sure the audience it's written for will love it, though.

On The Cards is, well... a Chrysostomon story through and through. Let's just say the story gets straight to the point, and leave it at that.

And I finished up the night with Sovereign. I think I preferred the first chapter a bit more. The story was enjoyable, I think I just wished there was a bit more to it. Would have been nice to see things play out a bit more between the two characters. Maybe a bit more resistance from Giu. Not sure how I feel about Alessa's revelation near the end. Put a bit of a sour note on the story. Hard to tell if there's going to be more or not. It's implied that there's more that could happen, but it also felt rather concluded in a sense. Still glad to have read it, but like I said, the first chapter is more my style.

So many stories this week, with a couple more that caught my eye. Rather astounding, as this is more than I usually ever end up reading already.

Contextually, with the size of the chapters it's probably not that bad. In general though I would advise against it.
If I'm reading the implication of your question correctly, I can't speak for others, but I never got into the Master PC series.

I haven't read the story you're probably asking about, but from a reader's perspective I'd never complain about getting the whole story at once.  However, from the perspective of a writer who understandably would like to have their stories seen and remembered, one or (depending on the length) two chapters a week creates a lot more intensity and anticipation, and keeps an already good story in peoples' minds and makes it linger there.  (Trust me on that, and there are a couple of really good examples of this!)  Long breaks between postings probably leads to people mentally wandering away, at least it would for me.  Those are my thoughts, for what they're worth.

I did something similar when I posted my first story to EMCSA...  I was advised to take it down and to re-post it at the rate of a chapter per week...

I am very glad that I did as I received very favourable reviews of the chapters after  being largely ignored when the whole story was up.
Far away is close at hand in images of elsewhere.

*Takes deep breath*

This week's installment of Algorithm was huge- in part because it's the first time I spelled "algorithm" correctly on the first go, but also because HOLY COW PLOT POINTS GALORE. I'm reminded a bit of Carefully Random's other great story, The Mask Becomes You, in that we have a character who is asked to choose between two less-than-ideal scenarios. Meanwhile, further plot development happens elsewhere in town. One of the things I like about this story is that the large cast allows for a lot of balls to be put into the air at once, and this chapter is an outstanding and fun example of that. And I hear that there's a new chapter coming on Saturday! Yay!

I've been cautiously approaching each new chapter of Blizzard. I love the story, but I always fear for the characters, in a way I really haven't felt since reading CerebusOne's Blood Sport. This is because Redsliver does such a wonderful job making you care about each and every main character in the story. I'm on Team Gene, too!

Oh, and:
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

I didn't comment on The Girls of S.L.E.E.P. last week, but I should have, because I'm really enjoying it. It's a bit like The Avengers of the New Chicagoverse, with characters from different Sleepy Hypnotizes stories all coming together for some fun and sexy hypnosis adventures. Bring on Number Two!

Finally, Wildwood continues to build an interesting mystery as our heroes try to rescue one victim while the lovely Agent Washington risks getting turned into another one. Lots of twists and turns and hot mind control to be had here.

Due to complications with his occupation, and the limitations of a firewall he can't get around, I have been tasked by Carefully Random to smuggle stories through fire and flame for his weekly MC fix. He has also asked me to share with you all, despite me assuming the burden of angering the firelord at the wall, his thoughts on what he has read.

He has very much enjoyed Hostel, Sitting Naked In Front of the Computer (the story, though maybe the act as well), and The Girls of SLEEP. In particular, and I quote: "Hostel is killing it right now."

I will gladly relay any responses anyone has, either to this, or to his story, for as long as my tired, slightly-charred body can endure. That is all. [wax-seal-here]

Ashley (mc ma) (1 new chapter)  by Blue Collar Girl
Ashley discovers a pile of goo in her home.

I must admit this is becoming reminiscent of the recently completed head trip of a show Legion, which discussed the issues of memory alteration and point of view. Ashley is changing little by little, but the apparent parasite is controlling her awareness of that. We are already at the point where it is starting to become difficult to discern between what the parasite is making her and who she technically is. Again, highly reminiscent of Legion, the hero and villain practically neither at the end from how they actively affected either other. I doubt this will end the same way, but things are moving alone in enticing ways.

I...don't know what to say, other than that I'm completely flattered by the comparison. Definitely not my (conscious) intention, and I haven't watched Season 3 yet, but Legion is one of my absolute favorite shows. Thank you so much!

Remainders (mc ff sf) (1 new chapter)  by the hungry ghost
Women find themselves trapped by a weird and mysterious force that seems to control their minds and bodies by putting them together in positions and groupings ideal for storage.

...Been waiting on the return of Remainders forever. I wouldn't consider myself to be a particularly religious person, but thank you Jesus!!!

Another thumbs up for The Bovide Bus. I'm always a sucker for more physical transformations to go with the hucow subgenre, but this story's relentless focus on the mental downgrade makes it a winner without adding horns and a tail.

I'm not really a writer, but I would merge some of the chapters. It also seems heavy on the technical details and light on characterisation.
