- A new Caretaker has been offered to Mr. sully... one that just might change his mind (and hers) about the whole ordeal while his lawyers sort out the paperwork. In the meantime, he's got a pet project going: a meditation room. Maybe a new Caretaker is just what he needs to help with that, too.
- Meditation Room Reshoot - 2026-06-27
- A partially re-shot, re-edited version of the "Meditation Room" scene from Day One (with an introduction from Ms. Archer from Cheer Teacher).
Underneath my videos there's a "Sullyverse" - a lore that it built on the conceit that a man named Winston Sully founded a consumer electronics corporation somewhere in New England in the 1960's that lasted until the 1980's. In his company skunkworks, an in-home "relaxation device" was invented but actually turned out to be a mind control device (surprise!). Horrified by the implications and worried what might happen if the wrong people got their hands on it, Mr. Sully buried the invention and kept it to himself... never using it but too proud of its invention to destroy it.
There are three types of devices... the original one that's a large, elaborate setup that takes up a whole room owned by Mr. Sully, one created by the son of the actual inventor (whose memories were erased to keep the secret) who found his father's notes that operates as a bulky-but-handheld device as seen in "
Cheer Teacher", and a third generation device based on a combination of the two technologies used by Mr. Cole in "
Lawn Work" to create Number Six (among others) called "the App" in that video.
Each device operates a little differently and is based on the concept of "mind control must have limitations or else it's just the worst plot device in existence" (even worse than time travel).
Anyhow, all of that is to say that "The Caretaker" is a multi-episode take at storytelling... it sets up the scenario by which Mr. Sully will find himself willing to risk using the device that's haunted his dreams and nightmares. Next episode will ALSO not contain mind control but the one after it will,
absolutely.
