I have a few more ideas that will probably be implemented as I find time.
Do you mind sharing some insight into your prompts? Unless you're editing the text on afterwards, which come to think of it makes way more sense.
Yes, the text is edited in afterwards, using techniques for enhanced visibility such as:
- Create duplicate layers of the text raster image.
- Darken the lower layer heavily (or select-all-opaque and fill with black)
- Shift the lower layer a few pixels (2 right 3 down seems to work well) to form a small "shadow"
- For large text, duplicate the shifted lower layer and shift the new lower layer further to form a larger "shadow"
Instead (or in addition as a separate process), slightly blur the darkened lower layer and duplicate it to make the outer fringes more opaque, thus forming a dark outline around each letter. (I applied both techniques for the top text of "Martian Mistresses" because the variable background made it challenging to get text to readably contrast with it.)
As for prompts, that's still largely trial and error -- a few I still have saved in my scratch files (developed after quite a bit of trial and error):
The scene is the interior of a tiny science fiction spaceship barely large enough for a crew of two. The window shows black space with a scattering of stars. Two beautiful slim curvy women in futuristic space navy uniforms, both similar greyish blue jumpsuit uniforms. The uniforms have a stylized ringed planet design on the right* breast. The uniforms are unzipped down the front. Both women have short hair. One woman has slightly curly blonde hair and the other woman has slightly curly brunette hair. Each woman's hair is noticeably drifting free in the zero gravity. They are seatbelted into the crew seats. They are looking wistfully at each other and holding hands.
*My intent was "left breast", but the AI interpreted it as "viewer's left" instead of "character's left" so I reversed it.
The scene is a futuristic bedroom with a large window on the left looking out at a futuristic city. A 1950s style metal robot with a curvy shapely feminine form, metallic feminine face, and bald head is bridal carrying a beautiful young busty woman with shoulder-length blonde hair wearing a sheer silk bra and sheer silk panties* toward the bed**. The woman has an arm on the robot's shoulder*** and a smile on her face.
*ImageFX said "lol no ya perv" to this part; Gemini was OK with it.
**The final image didn't acttually have the fembot carrying the woman toward the bed, but it was close enough to make the situation clear.
***Another "didn't quite follow the description, but eh close enough" output.
I got stuck on the "Martian Mistresses" one because no matter how I worded the prompt or how many times I repeated the relevant bit of description, the image generator insisted on marching the women
out of the flying saucer. After it occurred to me that I could depict the women
disembarking at their destination, things proceeded smoothly (and probably with a hotter result).
