Good stuff!

Loved the stocking work on "Rendezvous", BTW.  I find it hilarious how AI can't quite wrap it's transistors around the concept of "backseam" stockings without trying for front seams too.

Thank you!
Sometimes it's just bad prompting on my part: I may have forgotten to delete the "(seamed) stockings" part when the character would be seen from the front in a particular picture.

It's not your prompting, I assure you.   It honestly just has a mental block, much like how it keeps insisting on thinking you need to go "under" the stockings to get to the genitalia when it writes prose.  Blame the erosion of specificity of  the term "stockings" since the invention of pantyhose, and the training dataset being slanted towards modernity because it was sourced from the internet and there were far fewer people discussing stockings on the internet in 1955.
Whoever came up with that part of the entrancement is a sick motherfucker, she thought, but the humid heat in her own panties belied her attempted moralism on that fine point of mesmerist etiquette.

Finally, I have finished all the illustrations to "Talked Themselves Into It".
It will take me a month or so to sort them out and upload, but the most tricky (and interesting) part is done.

While I'm at it, an observation. Regarding the characters' appearance in AI-generated art, "regression to the mean" is a more serious problem than I thought. It often goes unnoticed, but I found out accidentally that Priscilla from this story (before her "blondification") often looks almost like a clone of Doris from "Movie Mania". Which was not an intended effect at all, obviously. Comparing their portraits side-by-side, I saw a striking resemblance, and got into it a bit more. As it turned out, characters had very similar text anchors. Both were described more or less as a "beautiful woman in her late 20s or early 30s, long straight dark brown hair, sophisticated features, high defined cheekbones, sharp refined jawline, almond-shaped eyes, full lips, statuesque hourglass figure", with some minor variations. So it's no wonder that AI starts depicting a generalized cookie-cutter "beautiful brunette" after a while. Nothing to be done now, but I'll have to take this into account from now on and dilute those general, standard descriptions with some more specific features (resting facial expression, ethnic anchor, asymmetries, celebrity look blending etc.)

One of my early favorites now, investigative journalism, the thing I like about it is how it reminds me of Terri hatcher getting hypnotized away from superman, the idea that even if you were a hulking superhuman machine a hypnotist could still control your girl! I'm not sure exactly how I would picture dr Melrose but seems like a fun one!

It always seemed to me that female reporters/journalists make some of the greatest (and hottest) subjects for the mind control erotic thriller genre. Trilby's "Loveknot" also comes to mind.

Dr.Melrose was described pretty good in the story, I had no trouble visualizing him as a small but subtly intimidating, suave and intelligent man in his 40s.

Hey, nice work! And I also appreciate that some of my favourite stories were chosen for this work. I am wondering if you can share more details about the tools and workflow.

Hi! For all of these artworks I used mainly Google Nano Banana 2 and Pro (in app and through API). For some more troublesome scenes I used Qwen Image, Flux 2 and Grok Imagine. Some very simple, basic post-production in image editors is also used when needed (and when I'm not too lazy to do that).

Do you use any service to keep continuity? I was trying to experiment with Higgsfield AI, but for video mostly.

I use text anchors, sometimes I add visual references, but very rarely lately (they are less efficient and cause more glitches).

I've been using Google Gemini to generate my parody pulp covers, but with more manual image editing for adding the cover text and occasionally generating two separate image portions and combining them manually when I can't get the AI to compose things correctly. After experiencing the amount of fiddling it takes, I'm impressed with the results you've been getting.

I made a small set of pictures, illustrating DaGhosthostblue's old story "What I Intend To Do With My Life" from the classic "Hotter Than Hell" anthology.

I don't think it's reality warping, just plain old mind control. Ben doesn't change anything in the physical reality, he just influences how people percieve it.
