British Aristocrat from Period Drama
« on: August 30, 2022, 08:58:34 pm »
The title says most of it ó if memory serves, it is a clip of a British aristocrat-type in her parlor talking to a magician of sorts.  The topic of hypnosis comes up, and she agrees to try it.  It seems to be working, but they are interrupted.  It might be from a Masterpiece Theatre-style period drama detective series, but that is just a guess.  I have been scouring the popular collections, but I have yet to find it.

Thanks in advance.

Ooohh, is it the one where she said something like,

"You've studied hypnotism haven't you?"

"Yes, it helped relieve the boredom."

"Hypnotize me?"

"what here in the botanical garden?"

"yes?"

something like that?

The scene I am thinking of took place in a parlor.  That being said, thanks for responding!

Good luck in finding it!

Anyone have any ideas about my Botanical Gardens one?

Not sure if this is it - but I thought I'd offer it.  Hypnosis scenes from the 1971 BBC miniseries "The Search for the Nile".  I capped the hypno bits from it:
