This was the hottest chapter of Algorithm yet. The description of Tiffany trying to resist the machine were fantastic. I suspect I know what her last-ditch plan is, but I’m definitely invested in seeing how it plays out.

I forgot how much I enjoyed reading Gifted the first time around (not surprising, I suppose, since that was fourteen years ago...) Glad to see it back and hope that more of the story gets told!

(more reviews to come, but first... coffee...)

Although I'm still eagerly awaiting the next chapter of Haunting still, Hostel was quite the delight. And thankfully no flashbacks from that movie occurred while reading it! (...please don't have it go that route...)

Funny enough, halfway through, I was telling myself the story was NOT going the way I expected. Then you managed to switch things up on me again, ending the chapter on a note similar to what I first assumed would happen from the beginning.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Another story absolutely hit out of the park. Can't wait for more!

Okay, in case anyone doesn't want to know whether our poor Rebecca will have her fingers and toes chopped off, a la Hostel: The Movie, I'll throw the next sentence inside of a spoiler tag...

Thank you so much for the kind comments!

Agreed!

Frankly I’m left wanting a sequel and a prequel... I think it was Lylia that gave us a glimpse of Heather’s humble beginnings last chapter, and I would enjoy that story fully told </hint>

On the subject of enjoying it and being left wanting more, great to see Following Her Dream update  - but what a tease with that first scene, evil! A great look at what Rachel has been doing while Janet has (mostly) moped around. The real question is can Janet use her device on Shadra to get them to hammer out the next part by next week?  ;)

That was my read on it as well. If worse came to worse, she'd at least be a more enjoyable mistress.

And agreed, this was a chapter of Algorithm that I've been hoping for a while now.

You'd probably have better luck having Janet use the device to make you not get your hopes up! =P In all likelihood, I'm pushing for two weeks from today, and only if I'm happy with the finale. Gasp, now I have to commit to not extending it.

But yes, I'll try to work hard on it this week. It's just that not everyone can write as fast as some (randomly-implied) people =P I'm not above taking bribes for sneak peaks though! A little sweet-talking can go a long way.

Had the time to get another story in, and so I went ahead and read Algorithm. I'm just going to parrot everyone else that reviewed it by saying it was wonderful, and wonderfully erotic. How do you expect me to write if you keep putting out must-reads like this that take up my time?

It’s an event whenever 321 posts, and “Hostel” is a great example.  He always creates well drawn characters, and he does so economically with a few lines.  I also love the atmosphere of the club.

321 Comes in with Hostel. That name certainly comes with connotations as movie goers know.

But nothing violent happens here, at least not physical, although if one could say MC is a violence against the mind, as I do, then there is a an attack of sorts.

Very close friends Rebecca and Emily on their particular search for East German retro experience in night clubs find something else entirely. First a couple Austrian girls. Rebecca gets to show off her hypnotic abilities much to the chagrin of one of their new friends and only after an unintentional revelation by the hypnotized woman does Rebecca realize the harm she caused. She is mortified by it and should be. One must be careful with those kinds of things.

Later they meet club owner Alice, an Irish expatriate. She is someone who is not careful with hypnotic powers but is in fact a predatory who willfully uses her skills.

The ground work is laid here for the future of the story. We know the characters and milieu now.

A couple other thoughts that stuck me, I am pretty sure our two Austrians who fled Rebecca will be returning to the story at some time. Also, Rebecca revealed herself to be a powerful hypnotist.

This I suspect will come very much into play as the story progresses. One can see this story can get very involved and fascinating.

Fumanchu's awesome Paperback continues with its unique and expertly done double narrative. You know how well it is written when both stories catch your attention and you don't mind moving from one to the other. Both are just that fun and interesting.

A tragic even occurs in the narrators life. Something you can't help feel shapes in some ways.

Meanwhile back on comic land our two young and lovely operatives are ready to infiltrate The Du Maurier Society to see what's up as ordered by the intrepid Director.

Over there is bows and bare feet and lovely young girls....Hmmmmm....

And our narrators shows himself to be a kind of genius, going to Harvard at 16 then Johns Hopkins. Double Hmmmmmmm...... One thing for sure, his MC fetish didn't hurt his mind one bit.

Meanwhile, back at the society there seems to be a bit of hypnotism going on. Very hot hypnotism. That doesn't hurt the mind of the reader either.....it only helps.  >:D

Stella gets rescued from control by her old teacher. This woman must have really been a terrific mentor who gained Stella's total trust and even though she is not physically there, she still is in her mind, saving her from a very precarious situation.

Chapter two only adds to the first one and makes the situations and characters, both the real life narrator and his comic book counterparts more interesting than chapter one.

This is one great story on so many levels. I defy anyone to read this far and stop.

In the newest chapter of Shadra's lovely Following Her Dream we find out why Rachel ends up back at Janet's place...thanks to much prodding from friend Emma. There is a lot of chewing the fat here as Rachel's thoughts are really laid out for the reader during her interaction with Emma, even as she doesn't really give her the true facts. But we know them.

Now the question is, what will Rachel do in the meeting with her old crush who ended up almost destroying her life?

And Bella the three legged dog? What a scene stealer! Melted my heart.

I agree. This was a delight to read. The beginning was great. As was the twist. I hope the next charters are equally as well.

I haven't been reading nearly as much as I used to, and then today I found the drive to finish my third story. Finishing up the day with the lovely Just Like Christmas. Very well told, and a joy from start to finish. I couldn't help but be reminded of something else when the two entranced girls were looking into each others eyes.

Thank you, Cerebus, for your kind words regarding Paperback.  I hope people give it a shot.

This is definitely on my list, and I hope to get to it soon. The first chapter was quite enjoyable, and I'd be remiss if I didn't continue it.

And Bella the three legged dog? What a scene stealer! Melted my heart.

Always a treat to see a post by you with those three bolded words that have come to mean so much to me. This chapter had been quite an evolving one throughout the process, I can't even begin to say how many iterations it went through. It's also a rather personal one, because Bella is actually my own dog! She gets around as well as any other, and yes, when she wants attention she's not above inflicting unintentional pain with her paw.

Emma's story, pirates aside, is actually also my own. Please heed warning signs, kids. They're there for a reason.

Lastly, a word about the Spanish scene. I'm sure I'm not the only one that tried to find any and all hypnosis videos on YouTube, only to come across a video by Tony Kamo. The scene in the story is a direct rip from one of his performances, which was a bit difficult because I know very little Spanish. Thankfully I have a friend that was able to verify the transcript, or so I hope.

Getting started

Femdom Mind Control Flash Fiction

OK, no surprise, Hypnotized was my pick of these 3, because there is also a very enjoyable piece of ff fd in here, which is very much my thing. Regardless of that fact, its the story that would appeal to me the most, regardless. Time of the Month was clearly next best, possibly because it has the glaring opportunity for some ff fd as well. All 3 pieces are nicely written, mind
High end of definitely enjoyed

Just Short of Sexy

If it wasnt for the incest, I'd have loved this too, as the take down is wonderfully done, even if I'm not a gamer in the slightest. Wonderfully paced too. But fine, I'll avoid this type of game, though thankfully I have no relations!
Definitely enjoyed. High end without incest for me

Return of the Armored Warrior

In truth, I'd love to see her and Shield Maiden team up more often, they make an entertaining team, though I'm sure villains wouldnt see it that way! Both 'battles' between them, and then them together were great fun to read.
High end of definitely enjoyed

Watch and Learn

Just to say for those concerned, no incest yet, but its clearly coming. Its not hard to see how things are going to progress here, but fine, I'd love to watch that DVD myself. Not sure how many would want me as a sex slave, mind! ::)
High end of definitely enjoyed

More to follow

I hope you enjoy it, Shadra.

Snuck a read of it during break at work xD The induction method certainly is unique! I'll have to disagree with the narrator about resistance, it's better with a bit of struggle, though perhaps he was thinking she'd just be immune after snapping out that first time, or that there would be no follow up for her?

Either way, I did enjoy, and I look forward to more!

First, see my answer above. And thanks for suggesting a prequel as well as a sequel. My workload is increasing and you want more? Some people have asked me for a sequel to another of my stories and, at the moment, that's going to be next.

And since you want me to write more - thank you for that - maybe I can ask you to help me with another story I'm trying to develop. Do you know exactly how dragons mate?

What a great update this week!

Gonna start off by adding my two cents to the excellent Algorithm. I loved the battle of wills (and minds!) between Lucy and Tiffany. The writing is as hot and sexy as always... and is it wrong that I kind of want Lucy to win here? :-)

Speaking of love, there's plenty in the air in the always-excellent Blizzard. This was Max's chapter in many ways, and I enjoyed the journey that she took Gene (and us!) on as the story progressed. It's not over yet, Gene!

Shadra's Following Her Dream is back, and what a chapter!

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

The scenes in this chapter are just fantastic, and Emma is such a sweetheart. :-)

Hee, I also love that

That brings me to two more reviews!

A Plethora of Heathers comes to an exciting, hoooooleeeee cow ending this week. I mean, we all knew that Heather B was a tough customer with a "certain set of skills," but who knew that she'd turn out to be such a badass?  :o

The bureaucracy, such as it is, of staffing and running Heather L's operation is nearly a character in its own right, and I loved how she took some time off (from plotting a nasty fate for Heather B) to ponder the logistics of taking on new non-Heathers.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Meanwhile, over in 61 Days in River City it's a battle (of sorts) between fake, real heroines (or would they be real, fake heroines?) and their real-life heroine counterparts. They're all great characters, even Motorcycle Maid, in spite of her mean comments (you have to draw web traffic somehow, I suppose). Only three weeks left in this story and I have no idea how it's going to all come together- but I'm sure that it will be fantastic!

Part 2

Paperback

I love the whole sensei thing here, and how it helps Stella, for a while at least. Who me, sign up for a life of mindless obedience, oh please! Oh fine, the treatment Stella gets at the end of this chapter, so delicious. Great barefoot fun.
High end of definitely enjoyed

A Plethora of Heathers

No tie up for Miss Carpenter, or the mature Miss Ewing? Betsy, I'm disappointed in you. Fine, I've wound her up more over this separately, but has to be mentioned here. lets just say its always interesting when things dont go entirely to plan, and leave it at that.
Definitely enjoyed. Personal gripe markdown, lol :P

61 Days in River City

And then to the very tangled web that is Betsy's other story. OK, Sonia and Vicky know how to make a drama out of a crisis, and leave it at that. Not sure they are completely clear yet! Oh fine, I was roaring with laughter at points where things maybe weren't going to plan for all.
High end of definitely enjoyed

Yew and Me

Reminded me of the spy sagas of old, not helped by the fact I've been doing stuff on the old 'number stations' of late. Yes, the 'spy swap' at the end is funny because she genuinely wasnt the one that hurt them. Still, if Svetlana's escapades mean they have a need for a mindlessly obedient 'robot' slave, get them to contact me, in English! ;)
As brilliantly as ever.
High end of definitely enjoyed

More tomorrow

What a great update this week!

Agreed. I've read more in these two days than I have in probably a couple weeks.

Shadra's Following Her Dream is back, and what a chapter!

The scenes in this chapter are just fantastic, and Emma is such a sweetheart. :-)

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it =D Emma always had been an anchor of sorts for Rachel, even when she's completely off about what is actually going on, but when you can't even confide in your best friend... why not their dog?

Hee, I also love that
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

I'm so glad I was able to add that in, with your permission of course.

Sorry. I didn't make that clear. Mine involves dragons only. I thought two, but maybe there are more? I don't know. Not yet. Don't worry if you don't know. I was just throwing it out there.

Anne McCaffrey's dragons mate on the wing - the female flies, pursued by male suitors, and when a male catches her, they entwine, and fall, needing to break apart before getting too low to recover, so the higher she flies before being caught, the better. She then lays a clutch of eggs a couple of months later, which hatch after another couple of months. Clutches range from around a dozen to maybe five dozen, but it's rare to have more than one queen egg, and not uncommon to have none. There are also non-queen females, but they're generally sterile (though they still rise to mate, helping keep the lesser males from getting too frustrated...)

I've also come across accounts of dragons who mate in the privacy of their lairs, laying a single egg, or occasionally having a live birth.

Then there are dragons with shape-changing abilities, who may or may not be fertile in their changed forms, and, if fertile, may or may not breed true.

The trouble is, "dragon" is used to apply to a range of different creatures, which have different natures, so you need to be more specific if you want a definite answer to a question about dragons...

Yes, the Narrator, upon his first reading, is pessimistic and fears that Stella, a strong heroine, will be immune to hypnosis for the rest of the novel, a pessimism borne from so many mainstream media disappointments.

Thank you for reading it, and taking the time to comment.  There are four more parts, and I hope you continue.

This was the hottest chapter of Algorithm yet. The description of Tiffany trying to resist the machine were fantastic. I suspect I know what her last-ditch plan is, but I’m definitely invested in seeing how it plays out.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

That was my read on it as well. If worse came to worse, she'd at least be a more enjoyable mistress.

And agreed, this was a chapter of Algorithm that I've been hoping for a while now.

Thank you both!  I really enjoyed writing this one, which I think may come across. After first draft I added a whole extra piece of naughtiness in the chair which wasn't there before, but I think it helps illustrate just how powerful the algorithm is if the frequencies are setup perfectly.

As for Tiffany's plan:

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Had the time to get another story in, and so I went ahead and read Algorithm. I'm just going to parrot everyone else that reviewed it by saying it was wonderful, and wonderfully erotic. How do you expect me to write if you keep putting out must-reads like this that take up my time?

Same to you! Thanks though, and I know what you mean, I don't manage to read half of what I want to each week, I have some catch up to play when I get some spare time...

Algorithm and It Runs in the Family are becoming my favorite stories at the moment. I was almost shaking with how hot these latest chapters were.

I'm honored BigJohn! :D Both for being in your topspot currently and for getting to share it with SammyNona

What a great update this week!

Gonna start off by adding my two cents to the excellent Algorithm. I loved the battle of wills (and minds!) between Lucy and Tiffany. The writing is as hot and sexy as always... and is it wrong that I kind of want Lucy to win here? :-)

Thank you! I don't think that's wrong, per say, but Lucy would be a vastly different flavor to either Erin or Tiffany. Of course, Tiffany and Erin would be pretty different from one another as well.  And who knows, from the shadows Josh might be hatching a master plan and just waiting for his moment...

Paperback continues to be excellent. I think that most of us can sympathize with the Narrator's fear that Stella- Stella! Of all people! The gorgeous woman on the cover! The one person in the whole entire Matt Gunner universe who needed to be hypnotized- that Stella would somehow shake off the brainwashing after the briefest of moments, and go on to beat the bad guys.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

The Society scenes have a great, creepy vibe to them. One supposes that Matt Gunner was drawing from real life when he wrote the book, as the "Du Maurier Society," from its gigantic cathedral to its coded levels of membership sure sounds familiar...

Femdon Mind Control Flash Fiction gives us three new stories, all under 1000 words. Perfect for a big update like this! "Hypnotized" gives us a sneaky mind control plot, "Time to..." gives us a short and fun workplace story, and "That Time of the Month" is about, well, a certain time of the month
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
"Hypnotized" was my favorite of the bunch, perhaps for obvious reasons, but I like all of them.

Yew and Me continues to be an outstanding chess match, with queens and pawns maneuvering around the Martian landscape and, often it seems, one another. And in the distance, a threat looms? Another great chapter full of great characters and details.

Oh yes, I nearly forgot. Today I met my first face to face Heather. Does this mean something?

It depends... did you happen to have a certain helmet ready for her to wear? :-)

Er no, I didn't. The meeting was out of the blue and I wasn't prepared.  But I did force myself to be pleasant. That's difficult but I think I pulled it off.

A Plethora of Heathers comes to an exciting, hoooooleeeee cow ending this week. I mean, we all knew that Heather B was a tough customer with a "certain set of skills," but who knew that she'd turn out to be such a badass?  :o

Now that's an interesting question. My answer is to remember English can make words by combining them using a hyphen. So your choice is between
fake real-heroines
or
real fake-heroines.
To me now, the real fake-heroines choice is more obvious here.

As for Motorcycle Maid, she does have to make a living doesn't she? There's more from her later.

Thank you for reading and reviewing.

References to you are there now as a general acknowledgement of your work here. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable about it, so I'll stop doing it if you say so.

I don't write a chapter a week and post each week. I can post the whole story once I begin to post. That doesn't mean to say I can't amend one or two things on the fly, but, generally the story is finished once I start posting. So I squirmed. Sorry Merry. Thanks grey_shadow for this detailed answer to my question. As I said, it's for a story that's just in my mind at the moment, but I wasn't thinking properly when I asked it. Of course there are many forms of dragons. I should've known that. I had Faeryfaye detail the many forms of vampires in 61 days and ask the same questions you do now.

As for mating on the wing and falling, I think I remember something like that from Silence of the Lambs. Didn't Hannibal compare Clarice to a bird (a gull?) that mates in a similar way and hope she (Clarise) was a high flier? The low fliers can't pull out and die by falling to earth.

I must look up Anne McCaffrey. Thanks for mentioning her.

Part 3

The Ancient Room

Main advantage with this was that I had zero sympathy for Sarah, and anything that happened to her. Which of course, inevitably it does. The actual take down is very nicely done, and I like the way he doesnt take her seriously when it does.

Blizzard

What isnt there for me to like with this feelgood story? In truth, nothing. One of those stories where everybody deserves all that they wish for, though here, I'm not sure some know quite what that is!

Hostel

I'd read plenty of praise for this before I got to it, so went in with high expectations, but it lives up to that, totally. Most definitely looking forward to more of this
High end of definitely enjoyed, leaving myself scope for more

It may depend how closely you approach - some dragons (including Anne McCaffrey's) have at least some psychic ability, and strong emotions tend to leak, and... well, people getting close to mating dragons tend to find that they are less interested in giant lizards, and much more interested in creatures their own species - or a closely enough related species...

You might even get someone with an imaginative bent, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to convince a dragon to co-operate, making arrangements to ensure people do get close to mating dragons in order to benefit from the side effects...

Algorithm

Well fine, I hope Tiffany can come up with something, because its not hard for me to hate Lucy intensely! Not that Tiffany doesnt deserve some punishment, but seriously... OK, fine, I'd still love to be completely reprogrammed by that device, but I'd prefer the tactic of leaving instructions as to what could be done to me. Robot? Flapper? Dancer? Hmm? ;) I loved Tiffany's planning, until the critical point, mind.
High end of definitely enjoyed. Mustnt upset Lucy!

Following Her Dream

Fine, I feel so sorry for Bella, she's adorable! Just needs saying. Otherwise, the story is as strong as ever, but still hoping for a happy ending here, I must say. What that might be, well...?
High end of definitely enjoyed

It Runs in the Family

Yes, fair to say I quickly skimmed all the incest stuff. Some nice logic v control stuff going down here too. Tara reminds me of a Duracell Bunny, in truth.
Sorry, incest, lots of it. Best I can do is Low end of definitely enjoyed, and thats being kind due to the story line. Those without an incest squick would give more

Just Like Christmas

Fine, this I absolutely loved! Yes, I know its hypno, but its cute, sweet, and beautifully handled. Yes, Duchess could hypnotise me any time she wished too, if thats the end result!
High end of definitely enjoyed

Thats it for this week, thanks as always to all authors involved, reviewed or not

PS I would love to blame Algorithm for my new found interest in number stations, but not really fair. But if you ever find me including the Lincolnshire Poacher in a story, you know what was to blame! :P

A Plethora of Heathers

No, Betsy, I wasn't split...  I enjoyed it so much that I want to read a lot more of it!

Thank you so much. I have a couple of ideas how to proceed, but it'll take a while.

Do you know exactly how dragons mate?

Carefully!

You called?

On the subject of dragons, being inherently magical creatures I think would work to their advantage. Certain enlargement/shrinking magic in the right place can go a long way... >>

On a total side but related note, a PSA for any adventurous sole who happen to come across two dragons doing the deed... well, based on how long dragons live and how relatively few of them there are, you can imagine that they don’t get laid at ALL often. Sufficed to say the will suffer NO interruptions... you have been warned O_o

Point taken. I will ensure only the people I want to kill off aproach mating dragons.

And there's the Heinlein interpretation where dragons can rub together the rocks they've swallowed to cause sparks which ignites the methane formed naturally through their digestive processes. This causes dragons to flame at both ends, which is something for male dragons to be wary of.

Thanks for your continued interest in this question and for your considered replies. I'm adding all these responses to my notes.

I've always liked the Chinese idea that dragons are originally fish.  If they live long enough and jump up a specific waterfall they are then upgraded to dragons.

Or something like that, been a long time since I read wherever I read that.

Thanks Merry. Better not let Lucy hear you speak like that though, otherwise she's bound to do something cruel like give you two left feet and a compulsion to shake it only to gangster rap O_o

The Algorithm is perfect for creating robots, we just need someone who's watched to much Sci-fi to be at the helm, Trev would do it but he's busy cleaning out my attic..."

PS I would love to blame Algorithm for my new found interest in number stations, but not really fair. But if you ever find me including the Lincolnshire Poacher in a story, you know what was to blame! :P

Haha, the Algorithm works in strange ways.  I don't know if you're much into games but if you're getting into number stations you should check out "Oxenfree", it's really more of an interactive novel (except it's a game - what I mean is it's not something that requires fast reflexes or anything - point and click adventure, that's the genre...) with tonnes of dialogue and choice paths, but the setting is on an island with a disused military naval base, so lots of number stations as part of the story and gameplay.  What makes it simply fantastic and actually pretty suitable for mention here is

Shadra, fumanchu, CerebusOne, Tasha Grey, maeryx3, fascinated, and Merry- thank you for the kind words regarding "Hostel." I hope that you enjoy the rest of the story as well!

Oh, I'd totally like to add in a few kind words about Hostel!  Really loved the first chapter, and what a tantalizing way to leave us all wanting more.  Knowing it's in the same universe, it makes me want to go and read Amnesiac, but I'm not the fastest reader so I'll tragically have to put Algorithm updates on hold for a few months :p

The other story I've started and not finished what's there yet is Paperback, and so far so good! The novel has such larger than life characters and the narrator's commentary really adds to the enjoyability of that - almost like it's saying "Yeah we know this is erotic mind control turned up to full but since it's fiction within fiction we can REALLY have fun with it ;)

Honestly wish I had time to read everything that comes out in a week, I'm sure I'm missing gems each time :/

B-level! Very good story, I would love this story with a long-term project, type 'limits'. I like that the MC happens 'over' the main characters.

A series of short vignettes.

I did not read the last addition, this 27, but if the previous two, very very good. The narrative from the focus of the victim, who assimilates the situation, is very effective.

Siblings might not always get along. But when Kailyn secretly steals a DVD from her brother’s room Nora is sure that goes too far. Yet one quick peek couldn’t hurt, right?

Not much physical action, but enough induction. If you like stories with an almost complete center in trance, this story is a very good option.

Well, when Trev is finally free, just saying... ;)

I've no idea what set the You Tube search thing off onto suggesting number station stuff for me, but I find it all fascinating. I guess the reason I find the Lincolnshire Poacher one the most fascinating, is that it was a British station (hasnt broadcast since 2008), and the woman's voice is so classy, and I love the different tone for last number in each set. I suspect the broadcasts were all automated, but the thought of sitting at a microphone, reading out blocks of numbers like that appeals to the old actress in me totally!

For those intrigued as to what I mean

Hostel (https://mcstories.com/Hostel/index.html) (mc ff) (new)  by 321
Rebecca’s trip to Berlin takes an interesting turn.

This may be part of a larger stoyline I haven't been following, but this worked on its own, as promised. The horror film of the same name easily comes to mind. Of course, a "hostel" is pretty much just another name for a bed and breakfast not unlike Bates Motel :P The reverse psychology point is that this did not have to be some slasher story, but lodging is a pretty good framing for any travel-oriented story. As for the characters, they were fun and nicely crafted. Even if it didn't really grab me by the end, I enjoyed what I read.

Its a prequel to Amnesiac, which if you havent read, is very much worth reading. Dont think we've got to the tie up point yet, I think this was more a set up piece than anything else. Fascinated to see where this continues

Well, since Shadra is rightfully praising 321, we need to recognize her “Following Her Dream” is right up there.  What she shares with “Amnesiac”, “Hostel”, and Cerebus’s “Bloodsport” is honest rumination about consequences of decisions made, especially on the enslaved.  Shadra also looks on the consequences on the controller.  Like those other writers, she does it while still telling a great story.

Shadra, sorry it took me this long to read the story and catch up with it.  Definitely my loss.

Also great reference in your story to one of the above tales.

Not at all, your stories have a solid and well-constructed structure, usually. It is good to be able to read such a constant author with good quality in MC.  :)

Thanks, Mr Potestas! I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

I'd forgotten all about the horror movie of the same name, and when I scrolled down the list of 'H' stories in the Archive, I was surprised that no one had taken that title yet. Perhaps that is why!  :)

Thank you again, Merry and Shadra. You made me blush.  :)  And while I'm here, I will also encourage everyone to check out Following Her Dream. The characters are great, the writing is great, the scenes are hot, and as fumanchu noted, there are some wonderfully-written scenes where both victims and controllers have to grapple with what they've done, or with what has been done to them (or both!). I am forever looking forward to reading the next chapter.
