I guarantee, each story posted gets many thousands of reads (even if you get zero comments). Simon doesn't share the data, but from my experience with comparable sites which do, the ratio is like 10,000:1 reads to comments.
"Vox Dominus" is getting really good.
The Witch, The Whip, His Wife and Her Lover (https://mcstories.com/WitchTheWhipHisWifeAndHerLover/index.html) (mc ff mf fd ds) (1 new chapter) by Alan Smithee
Senator Delacroix has a lot on his plate. His wife is cheating, an important vote is coming up, and the new intern? She might be a witch.
"She might be"?
Blake’s Magic Ring (https://mcstories.com/BlakesMagicRing/index.html) (mc mf mm md ds) (2 new chapters) by Daisy Isabella Britt de MelckerGlad you enjoyed chapter 3! It wrote itself! Come back for Chapter 6 and 7 which will feature the triplets and SPOILER but what little i will say is there will be more character development and plot. Though technically chapter 4 was plot, too. 4 and 5 are one chapter but i put all the sex (male on male anyway) in chapter 5 so you can read chapter 4 and be caught up with the story.
Blake Hamilton inherits a ring that allows him to command the minds of certain people.
A very simple premise: a magic ring that makes most (but not all) people submit. The women who do are very sexy, in that big-breasted submissive way Daisy has. But then character development happens in chapter 3, and rather well. Chapters 4-5 hit my squick button, so I skimmed.
Subroutine (Kallie) (https://mcstories.com/SubroutineKalie/index.html) (mc ff) (1 new chapter) by Kallie
Lori, a college student, discovers she has a hypnotic trigger that turns her into a mindless, obedient drone. How? Why? And what’s going to happen when her roommate finds out?
Finally got a chance to check out The Internship, and it's pure gold. I really need to read Fair Share at some point, too...

I read this on Gyrd's recommendation and really enjoyed it! A bunch of nice character stuff - looking forward to seeing where it goes.

The EMCSA would be well served with a "like/dislike" button.
Dead of Night (https://mcstories.com/DeadOfNight/index.html) (mc mf ff md fd) (1 new chapter) by SoVeryFascinated
An actress responds well to a stage hypnosis show ... and so does someone else.
So this was a longer form one I wanted to get stuck into. I'm now caught up, and I think it's quite good, but I can only recommend it to people who are ok with a very slow burn. This is leaning a lot more heavily into the "Literature" side of Erotic Literature. It's currently sitting around the ~30k mark, it's got at least one (probably multiple) chapters to go and I will probably continue to read in future updates to see where it goes.

Agreed. If nothing else, it would help authors gauge interest in their stories. Without thread comments or email messages, it can be very difficult to tell if anyone is reading at all. Particularly now when the updates are getting bigger.
I'd like a count of hits, but I'm not sure about ratings necessarily. They are subjective and deal with kinks instead of writing quality at times. And then they're are the trolls...

I don't see anything wrong about kink being a factor in rating a story on a website dedicated to kink.
As for trolls...I dunno, are there going to be a lot of people roaming the EMCSA downvoting stories? What would be the point?
Of course, a hit counter would also be nice.
Subliminals and hypnosis can't really change someone's sexuality.

Nobody has checked whether she floats or weighs the same as a duck, so the jury is still out on this issue

Is she... made of wood?
Considering the intent and style of the archive, I very much doubt Simon is going to introduce something as Web 3.0-y as a thumbs-button. :P

Arousal Inducing Audio (https://mcstories.com/ArousalInducingAudio/index.html) (mc ff ma) (new) by Synaptic Virus
Two girls experiment with sexy subliminals. Not realizing the messages are designed to slowly turn them lesbian.

Olivia’s Ass Toy, by kmiru0
It’s a well written story, except for the author’s decision to make one of the characters ambiguously gendered. It’s marked as an FF story, but the submissive character (Robin) has a gender neutral name, and the author only uses plural pronouns when referring to the character (they and their). It sticks out and is confusing at first. Additionally there are a few instances where the Robin character is called a “good boy” that made me have to go back and check the color codes to see if I was reading a green instead of a pink.
It’s a good story, but this choice by the author prevented me from really enjoying it. I was taken out of the story too many times.
